The Events Hub gives Admins one place to schedule events, browse sessions, review attendance, and manage instructors and labels. This page covers each tab, with a closer look at **Analytics**.

***

## Open the Events Hub

Select **Events** in the sidebar. The hub opens on **Events Management**. Learners who select **Events** see a catalog and a calendar instead. See [Browsing Events](/events/browsing-events).

| Tab | What you do there |
| - | - |
| **Events Management** | Switch between the **Calendar**, the **Events Catalog**, and **All Events** |
| **Programs** | Build [Programs](/learning/programs) and schedule [Cohorts](/learning/cohorts). This tab may not be enabled for your organization |
| **Analytics** | Track attendance across events, instructors, and labels |
| **Settings** | Set event defaults and manage **Instructors**, **Labels**, and **Rooms** |

***

## Events Management

Use the buttons at the top left of the tab to switch views.

| View | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Calendar** | Every session in a day, week, month, or 3-month grid. See [Events Calendar](/events/events-calendar) |
| **Events Catalog** | Every upcoming event once, with its next session, grouped by date. Search, filters, and registration work as learners see them in [Browsing Events](/events/browsing-events). This view may not be enabled for your organization |
| **All Events** | A table of every event. Expand a row to see its sessions, attendees, and waiting list, and use the download icon to export that event to Excel |

For the columns and filters in **All Events**, see [Events management](/admin/content-management#events-management).

### Session posters

In the **Events Catalog**, hover over the image on a session card to change it. **Generate poster** creates an image with AI from the session title and type. **Upload poster** uses your own image. Once a session has its own poster, **Delete poster** removes it after you confirm, and the card goes back to the default event image. These options don't appear if AI features are turned off for your organization.

## Analytics

The **Analytics** tab shows how your events perform over a period. It opens on the last 90 days.

### Choose a period and filter the data

The filter bar sits at the top of the tab.

* **Period** — choose **Last 30 days**, **Last 90 days**, **Last 365 days**, or **Year to date**. The **Events Over Time** chart groups data by day for 30 days, by week for 90 days, and by month for the longer periods.
* **Filter analytics** — opens the **Filter By** panel. The **Users** section filters by user attributes, such as department or location. Custom user attributes appear only when your role can see them. The **Events** section filters by **Type**, **Registration Policy**, **Labels**, **Instructors**, and **Locations**.
* **Clear filters** — appears once you change the period or add a filter. It resets the period and removes every filter. A badge on the filter icon shows how many filters are active.

If nothing matches, the tab shows "No event data yet for the selected period."

### Read the KPI tiles

Three tiles summarize the period. Each one shows its change against the previous period of the same length. For **Year to date**, the comparison is last year. Only sessions that have already ended count.

| Tile | What it counts |
| - | - |
| **Total Events** | Sessions that had at least one attendee |
| **Total Attendees** | People who attended at least one session |
| **Attendance Rate** | Attendances as a share of registrations |

### See what is working

Three cards rank your events, instructors, and labels. Select **Show more** to extend a list, or **View in large window** to read long titles.

| Card | How it ranks |
| - | - |
| **Top Events by Attendance** | Sessions by number of people who attended |
| **Top Instructors** | Instructors by how many of their sessions had attendees |
| **Top Labels** | Event labels by number of attendees |

### Event Activity Heatmap

The heatmap compares groups of learners against your events.

* **By event** or **By session** — **By event** has one column per event. **By session** has one column per dated session.
* **Group by** — choose the user attribute for the rows, such as department, location, job title, or role. **Department** is the default. Custom user attributes appear only when your role can see them.
* **Events** or **Sessions** picker — choose which columns to show. Juno pre-selects a default set.
* **Select a cell** — a side panel shows **Invited**, **Registered**, **Attended**, and **Did not attend** for that group and event.

### Events Over Time

A line chart plots **Invites**, **Registered**, **Attended**, and **Did not attend** across the period. Hover over a point to see the counts for that day, week, or month.

### Export to a spreadsheet

Select the export icon at the right end of the filter bar (its tooltip reads **Export XLSX**). The workbook has three sheets: **KPIs**, **Top Insights**, and **Events Over Time**. It follows the period and filters you set. The heatmap is not included.

<Tip>
To compare two groups, set a filter for one group, export, then change the filter and export again.
</Tip>

## Settings

The **Settings** tab has a section for each part of your event setup.

### General

Turn on **Hide members from learners by default** to have the **Hide members from learners** option checked whenever someone creates a new event. Each event can override it. Instructors and Admins always see all members.

### Instructors

Select **Instructors**, then **Create New Instructor**. Enter a **Name**, **Email**, and **Title**, choose **Internal** or **External**, and add a **Short Description** and a photo if you like.

If your organization has connected Zoom or Microsoft Teams, the form also has **Set as meeting host**. A meeting host can start and manage the meeting. On Zoom, only licensed users in your account can be hosts. On Microsoft Teams, the instructor must be a member of your Microsoft organization.

An instructor whose profile matches a Juno user, by account or by email address, sees the sessions they teach on their calendar. See [Events Calendar](/events/events-calendar#sessions-you-teach).

### Labels

Select **Labels**, then **Add Label**. Give the label a name and a color. Labels appear in the event filters, in the **Quick filters** on the calendar sidebar, and in the **Top Labels** card in **Analytics**. Deleting a label asks you to confirm. Events that used it no longer show it.

### Rooms

**Rooms** is for Admins who manage your organization's room directory. Connect your Outlook or Google workspace to sync meeting rooms, so people can book them for events and see availability. See [Google Calendar](/integrations-toolkit/google-calendar) and [Outlook Calendar](/integrations-toolkit/outlook-calendar).
