Your feedback tasks
When a feedback cycle starts, you’ll receive notifications for the reviews assigned to you. Go to Reviews → Action Items to see all pending tasks. You may have one or more of these tasks:| Task | What you do |
|---|---|
| Self-review | Rate yourself on the cycle’s competencies |
| Peer review | Rate a colleague on the same competencies |
| Manager review | Rate your direct report (if you’re a manager) |
Completing a review
Click on a feedback task to open the review form.Read each competency
The form presents competencies one at a time (e.g. “Communication”, “Leadership”).
Select a rating
Use the rating scale (typically 1–5) to rate the person on each competency. Each rating level has a description explaining what it means.
Answer open questions (if any)
Some cycles include open-ended questions where you can write detailed feedback.
If a competency doesn’t apply, you may be able to select N/A — this depends on whether your admin has enabled this option for the cycle.
Tips for good feedback
- Be specific — reference concrete examples, not general impressions
- Be constructive — focus on behaviors that can be improved, not personality traits
- Be honest — ratings that don’t reflect reality aren’t helpful for anyone
- Complete it on time — the cycle has a deadline. Late submissions may not be included
Peer matching
If the cycle includes peer reviews, your admin may:- Assign specific peers to review you (and you to review them)
- Let you select your own peers (within limits set by the admin)
