What is the AI Tutor?

The AI Tutor is a full-screen chat called Learn with Jamie. Pick a topic and Jamie researches learning materials, builds a short learning plan, and writes a lesson for you in the chat. Lessons are sized for about 10 minutes and use your job title and department to stay relevant to your work. The AI Tutor teaches the topic you open it with. It doesn’t appear inside courses or Journeys.

How to open it

You open the AI Tutor from a topic you picked, not from the main menu:
  1. In My Development, open the My Tools tab and choose a tool.
  2. Expand a topic and select Launch Tutor Session on the lesson you want.
The My Tools tab is hidden by default. Your admin needs to turn it on for your organization before you can open the AI Tutor from it.

In a session

  • Watch the progress messages while Jamie researches, plans, and writes your lesson.
  • Type a follow-up in the chat to ask for more detail or a different angle.
  • Select New Chat to start a fresh lesson, or close the chat to go back to where you were.
