Admins can build homepage views and share them with an audience — a curated set of cards that shows up for the people it’s meant for, instead of everyone building their own from scratch.
Homepage views are currently in beta.

Creating a view

Admins see a + New view chip at the end of the view switcher row, above the homepage cards. Selecting it opens the view builder in place of the card grid. Only Admins can create or edit views — everyone else can only pick from the views they’re shown.

Building a view

The builder is one form, not a wizard — fill in whatever order makes sense, then save:
  • Cards — you add up to 3 cards from the picker; that’s the full curated budget for a view.
  • Size — Standard or Large, but only for card types whose layout actually changes when they’re large. A Large card takes two of the three slots.
  • Who sees it — Only me keeps the view private, same as a learner’s own view. Share with others publishes it to an audience (see below).
  • Name — required to save.
Use Change or Remove under any card to swap or drop it, and Create view (or Save changes when editing) to save.

Card picker groups

The card picker groups its options so it’s clear what to expect from each one:
  • Cards that always have something to show are grouped by the view they belong to.
  • Cards that only report an exception — an overdue assignment, a pending request — collect into one “Appears when it applies” group. Placing one of these is a deliberate choice: it won’t always show something, and the picker says so up front instead of implying it will.
A card type your organization doesn’t have the module for still appears, disabled, with the reason why. A card already used elsewhere in the same view is disabled too.

Audience targeting

Setting Who sees this view to Share with others reveals:
  • Minimum role — Everyone, Managers and above, or Admins and above. You can’t gate a view above your own role.
  • Facets — narrow further by the same user attributes used elsewhere in Juno (department, location, custom attributes, and so on).
  • Make this the default view for these people — when checked, this view opens automatically for anyone who hasn’t chosen a view of their own and matches the audience.
If more than one shared view could default for the same person, Juno picks the most specific match: a view targeted by facets wins over one that only sets a minimum role, which wins over an open (no-filter) default.

Manage views

Select the Manage views chip at the end of the view switcher row to see every view you’ve created. From there you can:
  • Rename a view inline
  • Edit a view, which reopens the builder pre-filled (unavailable for views containing a card type the builder can’t represent yet)
  • Delete a view — a confirmation step is required first

Homepage character and the legacy pinned card

Two older, tenant-wide homepage settings aren’t self-serve in your Admin panel yet:
  • Homepage character — the mascot that greets people on the homepage. Your organization can replace it with your own artwork, or hide it.
  • Legacy pinned card — a single preset card pinned to the center position for everyone on the default (“For you”) homepage. It only applies to people who haven’t switched to a named view.
